September Program Meeting - Register Today!
Join us for the first program meeting of the 2008/2009 program year! This presentation, entitled The Commonwealth’s Classification and Pay System: An Overview, Impacts, and Interesting Facts, is sure to be informative to the experienced classifier or an HR professional who just wants to know more about this important HR function. CAPHRA - The New Name in HR for the Harrisburg Area
Effective July 1, 2008, HAIPMA-HR will no longer be affiliated with IPMA-HR. At that time, we will become a new, independent non-profit organization, but our mission will remain the same - to provide professional development, leadership, and networking opportunities to public sector HR professionals in the Harrisburg area. Effective July 1, our new organizational name will be CAPHRA (pronounced KAF-RA), which stands for the Capital Area Public Human Resources Association. All current HAIPMA-HR memberships will automatically be transferred to CAPHRA. To kick-off this new era for our organization, we're offering reduced membership rates for new members and renewals now through July 31. Go to the Membership Info page for more details.

HAIPMA-HR’s Recognition Awards provide an excellent opportunity for you to recognize a co-worker, supervisor, or manager, and the HAIPMA-HR Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to members pursuing a degree in public or human resource administration or human resource management.
